Belinda Crumpdump was a character who appeared in the series 2 episode An Elephant Never Forgets.
Description[]
Belinda was a small girl who had long blonde hair in braids. She dressed in a long pink dress with white trim, and shoes of the same colour. At one point, she also wore an orange raincoat.
History[]
After their guide Roger showed them elephants while on safari in Africa, Belinda and her brother decided that they wanted one, dead or alive.
Upon returning to England, the children received a parcel from the postman. Inside was the foot of a baby elephant which Mr. Crumpdump had had shot and turned into an umbrella stand. After realising that the foot was magical and granted wishes, Belinda and Percy, being so spoilt, soon ran out of things to wish for, so Belinda wished that the elephant was alive and back with them. This turned out to be a mistake, as the elephant, only having three legs, overbalanced and squashed the two flat.
