Mrs. Crumpdump was a character who appeared in the series 2 episode An Elephant Never Forgets.
Description[]
A tall woman with a mole on her left cheek, black hair, buck teeth and large lips, Mrs. Crumpdump wore several different outfits during the course of the episode. In Africa she wore a purple shirt with darker trim, paler scarf, jodhpurs and wide-brimmed hat and a pair of purple riding boots. Later she wore a long green dress with darker banding, green heeled boots and a necklace, later still a green dress, brown boots and orange raincoat with fur trim, and at the end returned to the outfit she had on in Africa. She was also seen relaxing by the pool in a yellow bikini.
History[]
While on safari in Africa, Mrs. Crumpdump’s children Belinda and Percy decided that they wanted an elephant, dead or alive, but Mrs. Crumpdump refused, not wanting one to smell or poop on her carpet. As a compromise, Mr. Crumpdump had an elephant shot and its foot turned into an umbrella stand for the pair.
At the end of the episode, Mrs. Crumpdump and her husband were scared out of their home by the wailing ghosts of their children, who had been squashed flat by a three-legged baby elephant.

Trivia[]
- The small dog - which appeared to by some kind of pug or bulldog - looked to belong primarily to Mrs. Crumpdump, as it was never seen without her.
