Oswald O'Burger, The Happy Cowboy
Oswald O'Burger, otherwise known as The Happy Cowboy, was a greedy businessman and owner of the fast-food chain Burger Skip in the series 1 episode Burgerskip.
Description[]
A very greedy man, Oswald’s only goal in life was to make as much money as he could. He was a tall and thin man with a long, sharp nose, and dressed in a white shirt beneath a red waistcoat, blue jeans, cowboy boots, and a ten-gallon hat.
History[]
Oswald chopped down and killed the old tree Panacheck along with the rest of the Amazon rainforest to make more space for his cattle to graze on, despite warnings from a old Amazon Indian. However, he was eventually whisked off, never to be seen again, by the ghost of Panacheck at the end of the episode.
Trivia[]
- In the story Burgers upon which Burgerskip is based, Oswald’s name was in fact Seamus O’Burger, and he dressed as a clown as opposed to a cowboy. This is clearly a reference to Ronald McDonald, the former mascot of fast-food chain McDonalds.
